Zimbra was bought by VMware in 2010 from Yahoo! and has two versions: an open-source version, and a commercially supported version Zimbra Network. Zimbra Open Source Edition provides organizations with email, calendar and collaboration. News February 8, 2012 - Content delivery network provider Akamai Technologies announced on Wednesday it has acquired performance optimization technology provider Blaze Software in a cash transaction.
